Q: What kinds of Dies do you process with MVR-FM?
Mr. Yashvardhan Gupta D.G.M. Head – Die Shop

We are producing press dies for sheet metal parts. For example, Fenders, Roofs and Door panels. The press dies are divided into several types according to the process. Such as Forming, Trimming, Piercing, and Bending. We introduced MVR-FM for use in finish machining these Dies.
Our company currently produces about 35% of the sheet metal Dies (A-Class) of Maruti Suzuki in-house using the Dies we developed.

Q: Why did you choose Mitsubishi when you introduced the machine tool?
Mr Retesh Girase Senior Manager & Mr Tushar Nikam Manager

The main reason is that we expected the service response. We uses other manufacturers' 5-face milling machines, but this time we counted more for quicker & quality after sales service responses. Service support of MHI India is quick and helpful. I think we have a good understanding with each other.

Q: How do you evaluate using MVR-FM?

As far as accuracy is concerned, we believe that it meets our expectation of tolerance and that the surface quality is also good.
In order to obtain accurate 3D Contour shape and hole position, positioning accuracy of the machine is important. We check / measure in Try - Out press and using a special inspection fixture to confirm the shape. There are various factors in the Try - Out press result, but we don't think there is any problem with MVR-FM.

In the future, we plan to take on new challenges in making better dies, such as machining using CBN tools , Heat Shrink Tool holders with high-speed spindle rotation. Next, we are also scheduled to introduce a new MVR-Ex for machining of Molds for die casting applications, and we expect it to contribute to further production.

We are pleased that our company 's products and services are contributing to the product activities of MARUTI SUZUKI INDIA LIMITED . We aspire to enhance our support and relationship.
