Equipped with 7 axis NC profile grinding machine (proprietary) for involute profiles and non-involute profiles such as arc profile, cycloid profile, sprocket profile achieves precision tooth forms that is smooth from the tip to the bottom and provides high quality and high precision cutter with long effective cutting length.
Dry cut with our "SuperDry Coating" makes improvement not only in the work environment that requires no cutting oil but rapid processing of more than twice the conventional speed is possible, achieving highly effi cient processing.

Processing by Shaper cutter

Attach the shaper cutter to the gear shaping machine and perform gear cutting in vertical direction from the upper to the down section and back to the upper section (non-cutting) in reciprocal motion.
As cutting cannot be performed at the returning motion, cutting is not as efficient as hobbing with continuous processing.
While helical guide is required at helical gear processing which involves torsional motion, our lineup features the Flexible Guide Type Gear Shaping Machine (ST series).
